Interactive Activities (2010-2012)

My job as content developer at EducationCity

In 2010 I relocated to UK and after one month job search there I got an offer from EducationCity.com which at that time was known as a leading developer and publisher of educational content. It seemed a really great company with offices in Rutland, UK and a sales base in Dallas, USA. They were employing over 100 people comprising talented artists, programmers, producers, trainers and school support teams. Also they had a large network of specialist educational advisors spanning both continents. When I decided to join it was used and trusted in over 15,000 subscribing schools as part of their everyday teaching.

I got an employment in the position for Flash ActionScript programmer as a content developer. The content developers were working on a number of new project initiatives, upgrading existing products in addition to adding new features. The product suite supported a very stable and buoyant sector. This role was for creating dynamic driven online experiences and cutting edge user interfaces, which utilise fluid motion throughout, programming interactive flash based activities and thoroughly testing created activities.

I decided to share some screenshots below of most interesting for me activities that I had created there. Besides check out related blog post “Never be afraid to change technology“ where I talk why I decided to leave this company and Flash technology altogether.
